The Spring Semester is OVER!!!

Im so glad. I ended the semester with a 2.8 grade average. A in English, B in History, C in Political Science, C in Algebra, and a B in Sociology. At least those classes are out the way and I don't have to take them again, but I do look at it as a blemish on my academic record. Oh well, it will be okay. I had signed up for some summer classes, but I don't think I will be able to afford them, since I have reached my financial aid limit for the 06-07 school year. That sucks :-( I was really looking forward to knocking down 3 more classes. I was anticipating taking Logic, Psychology, and another Math class to complete my math requirement. I'll figure something out.

It's Spring Break

My first 8 wk classes are over. I ended Sociology 160 with a B, and Political Science with a C. My Algebra class will continue to the end of the semester, and when we come back from spring break I will pick up English 102 and History 120. I am striving for A's in the rest of my classes. Wish me luck.

CMSU or K-State?

Both have a dietetics program, but with K-state, if you have already completed 30 credit hours you can enroll in their online Dietetics program. That sounds really tempting, but then I think about the social interaction that I would be missing out on. Oh what to do, what to do. K-State Online pros: no commute, I would be in charge of my study schedule...Online cons: loss of social interaction, expensive commute due to gas prices...I'm still thinking about it.

Phi Theta Kappa

I have been chosen to be apart of Phi Theta Kappa!!! The induction ceremony will be next week. Focus pays off. I always hear people say hard work pays off, but I think focus did it for me. This opens the doors for more scholarship mula!!!

School's Back in Session

Schooled resumed 1/17/07. I decided to drop the Mass Communication class before it started. I will be knocking out 15 credits this semester, so that will bring me to 27 credits. I received a letter in the mail stating that I had been selected to become a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society of two-year colleges. I felt extremely good about that. Well, I have some Algebra homework to do, so gotta go.
